Southeast Linxufest 2010 is being held at the Marriott at Renaissance Park hotel in Spartanburg, SC, located in upstate South Carolina.
There are four major ways to get to the Spartanburg Marriott, listed below.
The Spartanburg Amtrak station is literally a block away from the Marriott.
Amtrak provides direct service to Spartanburg without changeover through the Crescent line, which provides service from New Orleans, LA all the way up to New York City, NY. Other major cities along the way include Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, Birmingham, Newark, and Charlotte.
If you're willing to make a reasonable changeover of one train, the Carolinian/Piedmont line can also get you direct to Spartanburg, and provides a way to get to SELF from a few other cities including Raliegh, Durham, Richmond, and Baltimore.
Similarly, with one hop the Silver Service/Palmetto line can get you to SELF from Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Charleston.

Take I-26 until it intersects with I-85. Merge onto I-85 heading towards Charlotte. Take exit 72, "I-585 / Highway 176". Turn right. This will take you straight into downtown Spartanburg. Turn right at East St. Johns Street. The Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce with a large globe will be on the corner where you make the turn. Turn right onto N. Church Street / Highway 221. The Marriott will be on your right. The parking garage entrance is the underground entrance on the left.
Charlotte, NC and points north and east
Atlanta, GA and points south and west
Take I-85. Take exit 72, "I-585 / Highway 176". If coming from Atlanta, turn right. If coming from Charlotte, turn left across the bridge. This will take you straight into downtown Spartanburg.
